 Thanksgiving and Your Dog: How to Keep Them Safe During the Feast

Thanksgiving is a time for family, but it can also pose risks to your dog if you're not careful. While it’s tempting to share your meal, some common Thanksgiving foods—like turkey skin, onions, garlic, and grapes—are toxic to dogs. Instead of feeding your dog scraps, offer a special Thanksgiving treat like dog-safe pumpkin or sweet potato. Keep your pup occupied with interactive toys during the meal to prevent begging or temptation. If you have guests over, ensure your dog has a quiet space to retreat to when things get too chaotic.
